Hi everyone,
as you guys may know, finding top-notch bass stuff in Singapore is a real chore.
I recently contracted some G.A.S, and went looking for some pick-up and preamp upgrades. I really wanted some quality stuff, like Bartolini, Delano, Aeros, Fralins, J-retro and such, but to no avail.
Crawling through the Soft forums, I spotted Chern, from Red Dot Music, and checked out his website. Subsequently, (due to the GAS) I bought strings (Thomastik-Infield), custom cables, Nordstrand NJ4 Pickups, and a Audere JZ3 preamp.
I mean, all the stuff is really high-end. Chern himself is super helpful, unlike some independent importers I have had experience with. I just wanted to let you guys in on this secret, because my bass has never sounded better. Thanks!
