To repair or not? Yamaha clavinova

Hi guys,

I have a Yamaha CVP-109 that recently went a little bonkers. It's quite a number of years old but cosmetic condition is beautiful. There's no sound coming out from the speakers. When I use headphones or connect it to speakers, there's sound coming out. So, I suspect the problem is isolated to the speakers. Also, the LCD screen seems to have 3-4 lines that are not lit up. I bought it for slightly over 1k. I got a quote fr Yamaha for repair services, but it's gonna cost me at least about $200 just to take a look at it... actual repair not included yet. Do you think it's worth repairing? Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks! :)

These repairs are very expensive. I would use the keyboard until got smoke come out and then get rid of it.

Since there's sound if you use external speakers or headphones, just use it that way for now.
