Tips/Help needed on reducing sound from drums.

Hiya, I'm purchasing a drumset for personal use, and to place it in my room (HDB). But I need help in soundproofing my room or drum so that it's not too loud. My parents won't be too pleased either if the sound from drums is overwhelming...

Any tips or help from drummer here?
