Timbre Bass any good?

hey guys, recently started playinag again i've decided to get a low end bass that'll keep me happy.

i've read reviews about the timbre bass and seems that its really bang for buck, however would like to enquire with you guys or anyone whos bought the timbre bass :

is there any package available? like amp + bass ?

and also,

is the squier bass any good? does it come in a package as well ?

i usually just play bass with a pick and play stuff like blink, greenday, sum41, sugarcult, maroon5, goldfinger(99redballoons).

so judging from what i usually play, should i head in the J or P bass direction?
