Ron Thorn is the number one custom inlay guy for Fender Custom Shop, Gretsch Custom Shop, Jackson Custom Shop, and many other big names. they outsource their most complex inlays to him. Any master built Fender Custom Shop art guitar you see with crazy inlays is likely to have been inlaid by him.

he makes his own guitars too, they're not too shabby either

I know of one other Singaporean who has a Thorn (a semi hollow Koa T-style)

Congrats on the new guitar! I had the fortune to try Gunihoon's Koa Semi-hollow thorn and the attention to detail is probably the best I've seen. It's amazing how the maple binding on the body hole(I forgot but I think it's not an f-hole) was put together and Thorn guitars are reasonably priced given the innovations and other cool things that go with them.

Do tell us how it sounds like when it arrives and maybe you can also provide a list of specs?: )

Thorn's one piece machined solid brass trem bridge.. it's like a piece of fine jewelry. silky smooth action.

contoured heel, excellent upper fret access. notice the Korina has an almost 'TV Yellow' finish. delicious.

perfectly polished and rounded stainless steel 6150 frets.. best fretwork i've ever seen. also, the mastodon ivory tribal 'Firesun' inlay at the 12th fret, on an old growth Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard
