Finally survived work today after sleeping only at 3am last night. Was still too excited to sleep! :lol:

The clinic was absolutely awesome. In fact, awesome is still an understatement. Thomas Lang shared so much on his playing, I could feel steam coming out from my head. Too many things for my puny brain to handle! hahahaa! His legs were like octopus. His 4 limbs independence was just... out of this world!

Although I've thanked Boon personally yesterday, I think the man deserves more kudos here. Many thanks to Boon and his Drumfest crew for making this happen.

Like what plainsman told me, it felt like we were in "Ah Lang" heaven!

Oh and yes I remember something now - - - "Remember Thomas was saying to us on stage - " PLEASE SUPPORT DRUMFEST 2008 next year " - - - - - That means there will be a DrumFest 2008 MOST LIKELY again - - - Boy ! that's Great Isn't it Bros & Sis ? ...... so drummers brush up your skills now - and train hard for next year competition.

By The Way - DRUMFEST (Boon) - Is the Tickets for DrumFest 2007 on Sales NOW.wwwww Whahahahahaha :smt040 - - - Maybe DrumFest should sells the Tickets much earlier for DrumFest 2008 ... :idea: - As usual I'll be the 1st to get the Tickets.

Of course, I cross all my fingers and my toes that Thomas will return for Drumfest 08 too.

Finally heard the cd! It sounds freaking ridiculously awesome!!!! What in the world?

For those that always call him a "drummer" only and not a musician; Think again...

Success does not happen overnight and I believe Thomas knows what that means.

There are people who say Thomas' playing is too technical and that he is not musical. Apparently, those people have NEVER seen Thomas play or bother to really find out what Thomas can really do.

woo Thomas Lang rocks!! I bought some Meinl cymbals actually , they are 20" MB10 ride, 13" Byzance fast hats (OMG totally off the hook) and 16" Synthetik crash. The cymbals pricing at Thomas Lang's clinic are still on the same sale at Ranking sports though (http://www.singaporedrumfest.com/popup/TLpopupCYM.htm)

But really, the 13" fast hats is really very nice sounding. Had the very bright "chick" sound and the crispiness of the hats is always what I wanted. Tried in my room totally fell in love with it.. might post a couple of pictures of my 'babies' in the next following few days if I have the time to do so..

Anymore Meinl fans here?
