Hi guys
The clinic should be around 2 hours or so.
DBS auditorium is just right behind the CPF building. Once you come out of the MRT, head for the CPF building exit. Cross the traffic lights, and turn right to go behind the CPF building. Then walk straight. There will be signs along the way to show you where the auditorium is. You can't miss it really.

For the Sonor kit, i don't think anyone can afford even the price is lowered... for the cymbals, i will check out with Ranking... 8)

couldn't sleep the night b4 clinic. couldn't sleep the night After clinic. 1st night excited. 2nd night too high from the clinic and excited for Sat. today suppose to see big boss for performance appraisal somemore. and have to keep eyes open til 7pm for drum lesson. liddat how?????
but it's worth it.....totally. $30 - small price to pay for Lang the Man's awesome performance plus the chance to meet more of the local drumming community esp the softie regulars.

The most wonderful thing is that there were 300 over Drummers attending the Clinic last nite...Bravo :smt023. Lucky Draw Winners went to a quite a numbers of Softies here Mel80 being one of them.
With so many Drummers attending, Thanks to Bro Plainsman (who design the 6th Soft Meetup Flyers) - we (softies) were giving out the Flyers during the queing-up.....250 leaflets not enough lah.
S$30.00 - get a Modern Drummer Magazine ( a nice one), with HUdson Music Sponsorship for a Free DVD....What else to ask for...it's like FREE CLINIC...am I right Bros and Sis?
PS I bough a Jam-Block from Talent Music at S$50.00 Nett no GST somemore (much cheaper than getting it from Yamaha) and so lucky somemore (got lucky draw from Talent Music and I pick a Black-Dot Ping Pong Ball ) - and get a Free SONOR T-Shirt...It was a Medium Size - but TOO BIG FOR ME Lah.......Kekekeke :lol:

man, thomas lang was as good as advertised, and so much more.... 8O
after a few introductory minus one tracks, i was stunned by his solo intro (the one based on hats) it felt to me like thousands of caterpillar legs crawling around in amplified surround stereo... incredible!!!
seeing him perform in perform was so different from the dvd too, i could never digest much of the video in any one sitting
yesterday night i caught a glimpse of a maturing thomas lang who has as much to offer musically as he is well-versed technically.
all in all it was a superb clinic .. 3 cheers to "ah lang" and the guys who made it happen!!! :lol:

Of all musical instruments, the drum kit has been the most innovative... if a drummer has 8 limbs like an octopus... there is so much more that can be done with TL kind of calibre... 8)
