The video games 2010 thread!

2010 will be a huge year for video gaming. With Project Natal for the XBOX360, full body no-controller gaming will be finally realized. The possibilities of such a gaming mechanism is limitless!

But what video games are you guys looking forward to the most that's coming out this year?

My list is easy. And they'll all be out within the next few months!


1. FINAL FANTASY XIII - March!!!!! WOOO!! If you haven't seen the gameplay trailer already, you must!
2. HEAVY RAIN - PS3 exclusive
3. GOD OF WAR III - PS3 exclusive
4. ALAN WAKE - XBOX360 exclusive (adventure game)
5. MASS EFFECT 2 - XBOX360 exclusive
6. DRAGON AGE expansion
7. BIOSHOCK II - coming out in a little more than a month's time!


Also, the recently released BAYONETTA is fantastic - five times better than DEVIL MAY CRY 4. Also, there will be a new Call of Duty coming out this year, though it is more along the lines of World At War than a full blown Modern Warfare.

Any other titles you guys looking forward to?

Sorry bro, but don't get your hopes up too high. I'm a HUGE Diablo fanatic. See what Blizzzard is doing with SC2? They've been taking their time to perfect the game, it's most prolly gonna be released this year.

Diablo III is FAR FAR away from release. Prolly, by summer/winter 2011 is my bet. It's good in a way I guess, wait patiently, and you get a well-developed game.

Oh well, just hope they release that Diablo II patch asap to keep us busy till D3 is released

As Anirudh said, Diablo 3 isn't going to come out until Starcraft 2 has been out for some time, and that's assuming there are no delays. That said, Blizzard is known to take their time to make sure everything's perfect- isn't it better that way, then to get an unbalanced/less-enjoyable game?

Last year they said it was coming out 2012. I haven't been updating myself about it but from what you guys say it seems that 2012 is probably when they'll finally release.

I just bought a PS3 and I started playing Uncharted 2 which is amazing. I am looking forward to The Last Guardian (follow up to Shadow of the Colossus) this year, plus the new Legend of Zelda title on Wii. On 360, I eagerly await a game called 'Alan Wake' as well as any new Call of Duty titles. On PSP, I hope the Resident Evil Portable can make it out in a decent state and on DS, I pray that Sam & Max makes the transition.
