the tone that you want most. the gears that u use.

I do own a Randolf Switchblade (to my specs) / Keeley, all in 1 . Im using a Fender HRD. im using the amp dirt ch, randolf BD2 to boost my ds1 for a nice warm saturated lead tone. It doesnt sound like JP or Andy timmons. Its a tone of my own. but nevertheless, my fav guitarist is JP.

Messing around with knobs is a good way to get your sweet spot. I believe the vox ad50vt has amp models simulation?

yeah it does, but i usually use the clean models, black 2x12 most of the time. i use my effects on top of that. accepts pedals well, i usually use just the reverb on the amp though.

i prefer a bluesy style sound think john mayer

i achieve that with the middle stock of my MIM HSS strat.

with my JNH. thats it. but of course its not very close the original. close enough.

i really want a nice clean creamy tone like JM or the lead from los lonely boys in how far is heaven or SRV in tin pan alley. wow my ears can taste the cream hahaha. how can i get that tone? i'm thinking of getting the MIM 60th ann. strat. how is it? i've tried the highway one and it sounds good.

Might sound alien but I want Jonsi's (Sigur Ros) thick fuzzy-distorted tone when he bows. And also, Neil Young and Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead) yummy... :)

personally I dislike JP's tone, doesnt sound like how a guitar should ...to me...

I like the tones of Robin Trower,Warren Haynes,Joe Bonamassa,Guthrie Govan,Andy timmons with the laney....

I try getting close to my version of these tones with a Marshall 18W TMB ef86 clone and the skreddy screwdriver
