I'm there! "Chasing Cars" is a b*tch to pull off live. The Milo is on me! My kids are still a bit freaked from the JRock show they saw there a few months back but I think they will be OK with Uncle Stu. You're not still blonde, right?

FGL bro, it not 'clem and the boys' but 'raindogs'. have a good gig....

Yes...I'm wishing clem and the boys ....and all - to have a good gig.... I know its not clem & the boys..its Clem & the Claptonmaniacs.

Have a woofing good marine cove gig, mite pop in after Im done (gigging in Bedok area).

it neither 'clem and the boys' nor 'clem and the claptomaniacs'.

just 'RAINDOGS'. thanks

we actaully have a 100 dollar wager that FGL will turn up to support......

have a good gig bro.....

Wat time U guys on? Can I get in on the wager? $100 says I'll be there (schedule permitting)

Hey - now that SOT's really gone troppo - May be U guys can take over the mantle of THE NEW BIG BROWN BEAVER BAND - featuring Isaack Dict on bass??

the big brown beaver band did not disband SOT, colonel angus did.....
maybe in a fit of anger when we got dropped from terry's and the possibilty that the colonel did not get the chance to poke G4K....heheheheheh

...really ....just clearing the air here...

Col Angus did not disband SOT - The offer was open to all existing members for the new 2007 retro band line up - however, some members didnt want to start from scratch while others offered their services as "gun for hire".... these terms dont fit into the col's plan for 2007 but everyone's free to do their own thing and play, dress & plan their own way, everyone's a vet in the scene who knows best for themselves ...

As for the col - things are going to be planned, rehersed, package & marketed properly in 07 and not done like how the BBB band had carried on like the past year.

Gig location come & go, for the muso - the show goes on.

bro dont blame us lah....
in one set, you stunt katak one song is alright BUT 3 sets you stunt katak 4 to 5 songs...the band will look bad, walk in customers upon hearing the band attempt to play a tune they dont know will walk out.

after a year of proving your great ability as an awesome musician you now decide to run a structured, rehearsed outfit.

you will not change your ways lah and i really hope the new guys can 'tahan' your method of performing.

i admit, you are a rare breed with the ability to play any song at any given time....its true talent..but stop to look beside you and behind you....not many of us have your ability....

anyways the wager has now increased to 220 dollars.....

good luck on your gig!

bro dont blame us lah.... I dont blame any of you guys, even if the so - called stant katak songs are standard pub fare which most musos should be able to do - especially the songs previously covered

anyways the wager has now increased to 220 dollars..... Save it, suddenly I've this feeling my time would be better spent elsewhere

good luck on your gig!
and 2 & clem & the boys too

U all dono how to tell me before I launch into the song...When customers rqst 4 Sweet Child of Mine - I damm well say I donno to play te song man!
...well thats because u got NO balls to hack it and u are smart enough to call it off so you do not look bad!

Save it, suddenly I've this feeling my time would be better spent elsewhere
...your precious money should BETTER be spent elsewhere after hocking all your stuff....what a pity...in the first place u were never expected to show up....u defintely wont be missed

be like FGL - work hard in the day - gig like hell at night and hock all your gear.....then borrow someone else's to gig....

Stewart, we've been childhood friends but THIS draws the line.

Fine talk for someone who just shows up to play the gig ..... while I do all the sourcing for gigs, negociations, 90% of lead vox, arrangements, smsing /emailing, website, PR work etc... yet we all earn equal $

This is IT between me & you!

Have good gigs for the rest of your LIFE pal!

the raindogs plays live at marine cove this saturday at 'round 8pm.
it could be raining but thats when we play our best....
see yall there....

s'alrite FGL - wait til i tell your mommy and daddy what you do and where you go after gigs....with that mike magendran fella....

Wow, sorry to revive this thread but i felt the need to when i read it. I won't take sides or anything because i do know what happened, but for one thing i know is that don't just because of a small issue about gigging or money to breakup friendships....Come on! You guys grew up together and i believe music has brought you closer to each other.

Peace \m/
