The new International Drum Teachers Network is now ON LINE, and they are accepting teacher memberships. With the help of everyone in the community, it can become a great source for drummers searching for a teacher anywhere in the world.

The Drum Teachers Network is FREE to search. You can search by any number of criteria, and you will be provided with a list of teachers that you may contact for lessons. There is no "forum" or "messgae board". It's simply a place that connects students with teachers!

For teachers, it is a great way to make your services known, raise your profile, increase you teaching practice, and become part of a network of dedicated teachers. Your member profile will included all your bio information, links to your website, plus a picture, and an audio clip.

The site is listed with numerous search engines, including Google, which should begin to show the site in the coming weeks. Look for the ads in MODERN DRUMMER in the coming months in the marketplace section, and Bernhard has gratiously offered his support with a billboard at drummerworld and they have also linked drummerworld, com to the Drum Teacher Network.

As the Drum Teachers Network grows with teachers profiles, It hope it will help become the place where students around the world can find a teacher at any time.

Bro Joshie...doesn't matter, whom we are learning from....as long as The Instructor is a Good Drumming Instructor.

That's the reason, why we are going to have the drumming meet-up ..."To Share Among Ourself" what we have all learn or have been taught ... somehow Different Instructor does have their own individual way & style in executing the many different things in drumming ... by sharing we all benefit from learning (through watching how each other does it), and individually we can then choose to adopt what we personally like ourself & thus overtime we can improve through this kind of exchange....beside the building of personal relationship here.

I still strongly believe that it is very necessary for any Beginner Drummers to have a Good Drumming Instructor (whoever they may be)...It's a process that beginners have to learn & practice hard for couple of years (not months here)...and afterwhich, they can then choose to be on their own then. - - This kind of $$$$$$ cannot save one...believe me, because time is money - so why waste time/years and at the end of the day find yourself not progressing or going anywhere (this is my own personal real-life experience that I wasted just too many Donkey Years by my own)

We All Need Good Drumming Instructors...Cheers !

PS:- If I have a proper Instructor and have been taking drum lesson (let's say - 6 years back)...I'm sure by now - I'm now an Awesome Drummer liao - not like now only - An OK Kind Of Drummer only....chia-lat man.
