The most portable keyboard EVER???

For those who remembered, we had been trying to find the most portable keyboard for gigging - something that's the easiest to carry and lug around. People even suggested the cloth midi controller keyboard. We also suggested that perhaps we should custom make one that's foldable.

OK.....now it's really happening. A real foldable 76-key midi controller! The VAX77 from Infinite Response. Keys are custom weighted to your choice, weigh 25lb, fit into the overhead compartment of a plane, comes in different colours etc.

Can't wait for an 88-key version. Then it will be the ultimate. And the wheel at the side of the keyboard is certainly unusually placed. But I guess they are really trying hard to make the width as short as possible - to fit into the overhead compartment of the plane. So I'm not sure if the 88-key version is coming anytime soon... But it will definitely be an eye-catcher in a gig especially during setting up and packing up. Will sure make heads turn!

btw ... i can't imagine the playing high on the last register and trying to grab and control the pitch wheel there ... -_-" ... that's my major drawback lah .. hahaha
