Since people are still unsure or dare not modify the plug themselves, I present the SUPER DUPER ULTRA MEGA WHY DIDNT YOU THINK OF THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE EASY WAY to do it.

Throw away the cord.

Buy a computer 3 pin plug cord:

Ya hor I forgot there are amps with power cords that stick out their back. Man I hate those. Irritating to carry around then the stupid cable drops out and uncoils then you try to gather them up while balancing the amp with one hand and your knee :?

but it only works for amps with removable power cords

for those smaller wattage amps, their power cord is directly connected to the transformer, so they still have to cut out the 2pin plug one and change it to a 3pin

This are not 9V pedal voltages you are playing with here people, it's killer voltage so please don't be playing around if you don't know what you are doing.
