I have been eyeing this for over a 2 years now....been writing to them to see if I could get a set but was rejected then cos they were only interested to ship within Europe. Now I just discovered that they're shipping internationally but...timing so bad...SOB!!! I'm now gear exclusive but I thought some of you might benefit from this....

of course it sounds great...read abt the wood used...not cheap wood. But I calculated...it'll cost almost $2000 to get one of these babies....

Nice GigPig..hahahahaha.

Very innovative this guys, got double Pedal somemore...compact with various colour to chooce from....Let's get this and do Basking.......I love it.

PS: - At first I thought the Casing was Metal...

one of these days i'm gonna get myself a tiny/small kit that i play just about anywhere .. *still thinking about failed pink camo experiment*

Hey alvin. when is your kit coming in?

I just confirmed my order 3-4days ago. They're trying to rush the factory for me, so hopefully I will be able to receive it by end november. Config: Pearl Masters Premium 6 ply maple. 22 X18 Bass, 14 X 6.5" snare, 10 X 8" & 12 X 9" rack toms, 14 x 14" & 16 x 16" floor toms.

Bro Plainsman - We all share and innovate on this Compact-Kit - Then I get you a place - with Tools and Maschine - We both go and do one each Hahahahaha ! That would be really fun.

you going the MRP route eh? so it'll be diamond burst with black hardware i guess?

Yup...Reinforcement rings were used cos in the past technology wasn't that great so needed the help of the rings to keep the shells from going out of shape. Moreover, the rings gives the drums a higher pitched tone which is really old-school.

Why I chose MRP:

1) There is no need for reinforcement rings anymore cos I know Pearl Shells aren't gonna warp!

2) If I want the old-school, high pitched tone, I can always play around with skins and tuning...but with the reinforcement rings...I'll be stuck with that tone...more or less...

As for finish...I've gone with a different colour...let it be a surprise!
