Dudes, friendly banter is one thing but there's fine line between that and insults. I do believe that top 4 teams are in the top 4 for a reason, no need to say where each team deserves to go, as ultimately results are the most impt. As for the Nani headbutt, my friend, Man U diehard, called him a loser, retard and more interesting a 'Riise'. Kinda funny. Yea me and my friends laughed like mad at his antics. Only a pure retard could think of doing such a thing and get away with it. Hope Fergie washes out his eardrums with his hairdryer ( aka his mouth ) and then sells him away. And well, the everton game was 1-0 to Arsenal. Win big? Nah. Job done? Yes.

Aiyah, Wylde and me were having a DECENT fan talk. IT's part of the game for us fans - live with it. :D

I think I was upset because Wylde didn't mention the provocation created by Lucarse Neil. And that Nani didn't really headbutt Lucarse but merely touched Lucarse's facial forehead. And that Lucarse, the arse, who is much bigger, fell down like a pile of elongated shit - yeah slow-mo and all that!

It is true that should one want to be taken seriously, then one has to take on the side of reality. The fact that Lucarse's provocation and his resultant fall, from grace, should also have been mentioned.

Again, Nani shouldn't have retaliated but Nani's retaliation was no more than a head to head touch. Watch it in realtime and you will realise that Lucarse made the most out of it and then some.

So, donch go around making a meal out of an ant. The great thing about Man United is that we have a great manager that believes in discipline on the pitch. Arse Wanker should learn from SAF.

What is it? Three years without a trophy? And your season's gone and you take cheap shots at a young player like Nani? You want next year? OK. Let's see how it goes next year.

And congrats on winning your Cup Final against Everton today. Just one more to go, Sunday, next week. And then that's your LAST Cup Final for this year.

I hope you look forward to the CL qualifying rounds, it could be your final.

aiyah, so much angst going around.
I'm a neutral but I, together with almost all analysts/pundits, agree that Arsenal is the side that plays the best football. They do justice to the Beautiful Game. And best of all, they're all so young its awesome.
If not for those horrible injuries, they should have won something.

On the other hand, Man U got 2 lucky deflected goals against West Ham yesterday. It seems that when u are on top, everything will go for u.
But they deserve credit for their watertight defense, as exemplified against Barca. Respect.

PS: i think the big hooha over Nani wasn't over his initial headbutt, but his comedic antics after that. Something that all professionals will laugh at.

No angst here bro, just having some friendly nudges with wylde. Not to make a defence for Nani, because he was out of line, but Lucarse fell theatrically, and Nani knew that Lucarse's act was going to result in a sending off, nani's. It was only after Lucarse fell like a pice of eliongated turd that Nani made a wrong decision, to fall onto the ground.

Football's great. Lots of feel.

Wenger: 'You could see it was an end of season game'

Arsenal 1-0 Everton

Barclays Premier League

Emirates Stadium

Sun, May 4, 2008, 1.30pm

on the result...
"The fluency was a bit difficult sometimes. You could see that it was a little bit an end of season game, especially with the fact that they didn't open up at all. They played with Johnson up front, but we were sound at the back. We didn't create as many chances as usual but we scored a great goal and, in the end, I think we just deserved a win today. They didn't create a lot and overall we deserved to win this game."
on the absence of Cesc...
"Cesc wasn't in the side because he was injured. He came in yesterday morning, we made a scan and we couldn't take a chance to play him. On the scan it is a three-week injury. He'll be ready for Spain but not for us."
on Lehmann's final appearance...
"It was a farewell, yes. I wanted him to say goodbye to the fans and to show him that we respect him for what he has done for us. He was a 100 per-cent professional, not always an easy character but you take that if the guys is committed every day."
on Bendtner's progress...
"Bendtner? Fantastic. I think if you look at Bendtner on the August 1 and Bendtner on the May 1 there is a massive difference. He has become a good player, and if you look at the chances he has created, in the time he plays, and the times he has scored, especially the goal he scored today. You need to understand the game because he's on the move, he meets the ball, he finishes well. I'm impressed by him."
on Flamini's contact negotiations...
"Frankly, I don't know more than you. He has an offer on the table that is valid until tomorrow, and then we'll see. I am not confident and not worried. That means the situation is not in my hands, you know? We've done what we had to do, now it is down to him to decide what he wants to do. I wanted to put him on the bench but he had a little recurrance of his ankle."
on Gilberto's future...
"I would like Gilberto to stay. But I have to sit down with him to see what he wants to do. Gilberto is like Jens Lehmann, you can rely on them, they are fantastic professionals. Gilberto is a fantastic guy. We won trophies with Gilberto and Jens because they are special human beings, you know? You do not win with average people."

we gotta look ahead to finishing the season strongly, starting with Man City at home. Who's up for a 3-1 win to Liverpool?
Hmm...Does this sound familiar loldude333....well,what happened yesterday??like what you said,Win Big Liverpool?Nah..Job Done Liverpool?..Yes

football is a beautiful game and i can say that i stand by my team just as Rork stands by his..that`s what you call DIE HARD FANS loldude333.i have some Man U fans..we will get on each other`s neck during games, but it end of it all,we just laugh bout it
Arsenal played well, but could not just break with more goals..hiya
anyway,i hope Chelsea loses tonight. Man U can take the title.I hope Arsenal can take 2nd place..a bit optimistic i can say...but,i`m hoping that it would happen..

Lastly,Congrats To Real Madrid for winning the la liga!

Wenger admits Flamini Milan move is likely

Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini will sign for Italian giants AC Milan, according to the Serie A club's vice-president.

Adriano Galliani revealed after his team's 2-1 triumph over Inter in today's Milan derby that the Rossoneri are close to sealing a deal for the Frenchman whose contract with the Gunners expires at the end of the season.

Galliani said: 'Flamini will arrive tonight in Milan and will sign a four-year contract.'

The 24-year-old is expected to undergo a medical tomorrow.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had admitted after today's 1-0 victory over Everton that he was not 'super-confident' Flamini would still be at Arsenal next season.

Despite the offer of a lucrative new five-year deal - understood to be worth around £55,000-a-week - from the Barclays Premier League club, his future remains unresolved.

Both AC Milan and Juventus were reported to be tracking the France international, who formed a fine partnership with Cesc Fabregas at the heart of the Arsenal team this season having looked to be on his way out of the club at the end of the last campaign.

It is understood Flamini said his goodbyes to some staff as he left the car park after today's match at the Emirates Stadium.

'Frankly, I don't know,' said the Arsenal manager when asked about Flamini's future. 'But if you ask me was I overall super-confident, I would say no.

'He has an offer on the table which is valid until tomorrow, then we will see.

'I am not confident, but also not worried. The situation is not in my hands.

'We have done what we had to do, it is now down to him to make a decision.'

Wenger called for the matter to be resolved expediently one way or another.

'At some stage you have to make a decision and if he goes we have to look at our options,' said the Arsenal boss.

'We can't wait until July. You could lose players if they come on the market.

``My ideal solution is that he stays, so I am not happy if he goes - but we've done everything we can.'

And congrats on winning your Cup Final against Everton today. Just one more to go, Sunday, next week. And then that's your LAST Cup Final for this year.

I hope you look forward to the CL qualifying rounds, it could be your final.

as a betting man, opting for a Chelsea win..makes the league more exciting..we will only then knows the winner on final match day..

Haha, well i jus don't like all this batting abt, sounds a little disturbing. And bro RoRK, i ain't an Arsenal fan, although i enjoy watching them a lot. Yea wlyde, maybe i ain't so hardcore but well, everyone's different for a reason. And well, i guess the results of lasy night's matches was well-deserved, congrats to Torres for equalling the club goalscoring record on home ground. And of course to RMad for retaining their title. And to Barca for finally winning and doing it in style, 6-0 is a huge scoreline. If only they had played like that in the CL, they might be in the final now. I can tell maybe u guys are a little put off by my comments, no offence there. Peace.

dont worry bro - I believe that all this soccer rivalry - just like anything else in the internet sites - should be taken with a pinch of salt :p

Lehmann - The farewell will always stay in my heart
Arsenal 1-0 Everton
Barclays Premier League
Emirates Stadium

By Richard Clarke

Jens Lehmann left Emirates Stadium on Sunday with tears in his eyes and a smile on his face.

Before kick-off, Arsène Wenger had said the 38-year-old was "99 per cent" likely to leave at the end of his contract in the summer. Therefore the manager afforded his German keeper the luxury of a 20-minute appearance at the end of the 1-0 win over Everton.

At full time captain William Gallas convinced the former Dortmund stopper to make his own personal farewell. He then joined the rest of the side in a more general thank you to the fans.

Lehmann's name was sung the loudest, proof that his five years had been memorable.

"I had one or two tears in my eyes," he said afterwards. "It was a great farewell for me. This farewell will always stay in my heart.

"The boss told me before that he planned to get me on. It was a very warm welcome on the pitch and I was very fortunate because the team didn't let me down before, just in case it had been 3-0 or 2-0 for Everton, it would have been a different reception."

So how does Lehmann look back on the Arsenal experience?

"It was the right decision from the start to the end, to come here," he said. "Not only in terms of football but as well for my family. My children now are talking, are speaking better English than German, and they don't want to go back.

"My wife and myself, we learnt the language quite well and we learnt about another way of life. A very respectful, very kind way and that's a little bit different to Germany. There are a lot of similarities between English and German people but there are some differences as well.

"As for the football I was part of a team which was playing probably the most attractive game. It was really good.

"In the first two years we won something, unfortunately in the third year we were very close to winning the Champions League, but failed in the end.

"My biggest memory was probably the Real Madrid game at home, when we played 0-0. Then of course the FA Cup Final and then there was the game we became champions at Tottenham.

"I was together with Sol Campbell we were the only players who felt disappointed in the dressing-room because we didn't know we were champions by this time. We had conceded a goal just at the end and it finished 2-2. That was a very, very emotional moment for me.

"But, I said before, there are more memories than only just playing, there is the reception of the supporters. The respectful kindness of the supporters."

And that is what Lehmann saw for one last time on Sunday.

Quite sad to see him go,though he has made some blunders and he is a bit eccentric when on field..But,overrall,he is a damm fine keeper.

AC Milan confirm capture of Arsenal's Flamini

_42008202_flamini_getty.jpg

AC Milan have completed the signing of Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini on a four-year contract - but the club expect to miss out on Chelsea's Didier Drogba.

Flamini is out of contract with the Gunners at the end of the season and today agreed to join the Italian club in a deal which will begin on July 1.

Milan have also been strongly linked with Chelsea striker Drogba in Europe but Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida does not anticipate the Ivory Coast forward joining Flamini at the San Siro this summer.

He told PA Sport: 'Drogba is a very interesting player that many clubs would want to have but he is under contract at Chelsea and I believe he will remain at Chelsea next season.'

As for France international Flamini, Braida revealed Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is a great admirer of the 24-year-old.

'I have to say Flamini was a player that Ancelotti really wanted and Milan is like a family, where decisions are made jointly,' he said.

Arsenal had hoped Flamini would agree a deal to stay at the Emirates Stadium, but they always knew it would be difficult with outfits like Juventus and Milan coveting the player.

'Flamini is not an unknown player,' said Braida. 'Just like Didier Drogba isn't.

'I'm not surprised by his talent and I assume several teams would have wanted his services.

'Although no negotiations are ever easy, it wasn't difficult to convince Flamini to join Milan.

'Flamini has made a choice as his contract with Arsenal is coming to an end and we are delighted he has chosen Milan.

'He is a very good player and he can offer a lot to the team.'

Flamini expressed his joy at the move after finalising terms with the Serie A outfit.

'I am extremely happy. Thanks a million,' he said.

Despite the offer of a lucrative new five-year deal - understood to be worth around £55,000-a-week - from the north London club, Flamini's head was turned by Milan's interest.

Juventus were also reported to be tracking the player, who has formed a fine partnership with Cesc Fabregas this season after looking to be on his way out of the club at the end of the last campaign.

He put in an impressive performance at the San Siro as Arsene Wenger's team knocked Milan out of the Champions League at the last-16 stage in March.

It is understood the former Marseille man said his goodbyes to some staff as he left the car park after yesterday's home win over Everton in the Premier League.

He will compete for a place in the Rossoneri midfield with Brazil star Kaka and the Italy trio of Gennaro Gattuso, Andrea Pirlo and Massimo Ambrosini.

Milan beat city rivals Inter Milan 2-1 today to climb into the final qualifying place for the Champions League, leapfrogging Fiorentina who lost 2-1 at Cagliari.

Flamini's last match as an Arsenal player will be Sunday's Premier League trip to Sunderland.

another good player is going...damm
