my dad decided to get me a classical for my birthday years ago. it was from cash converters. i was so pissed off with it till i traded it with my friend for an acoustic. i got the better deal, and i'm taking it step by step. i still can't shred though. damn.

The day i decided to pick-up music was the day when I saw Slash, standing on top of the piano, burn the fretboard on the outro to Novermber Rain, which I think, I was in Sec 2. Then, I took my bro's Ibanez, an old CT Series Model and asked my friends to teach me to play the guitar. Got myself a scale and chord library book, then it started off from there.

hmm, i truly picked up music when i was 14. never stopped ever since. i started out with a beat up yamaha my dad gave me. then after listening to steve vai, petrucci and hendrix i got my gorgeous schecter.

wah... pick up like 18yrs back...
seting down at home watching centurions cartoon. my uncle came by with his kapok acoustic.
i was force to learn black nite-deep puprple. no idea wat song oso back then.
he gave me a book. he wrote down all the chord progessions of many2 old sch rock songs.
from there i slowly2 learn...
but till now i still play like shit@!$#@!@!

mine was when I was 10... my brother got a keyboard, but he didnt know how to play. So after some months of fooling around with it we just tossed it under the sofa. It was after 4 years when I suddenly felt that it was a waste to let it rot under the sofa, so I picked it up again and started to really learn it. It was during a 1st season of Singapore Idol, as I was playing with the keyboard while watching SI. =)

pick up guitar when im in sec3, all those gNr/metallica blasted daily by my bro got me hooked..(he now listens to dance and hokkien songs.. lol ) 1st acoustic was from a frnd. self painted it with green sparkling stars(think the iceman used by earlier white zombie guitarist..)then progress to 1st elec. which is a samick strat...then came green day/nirvana songs..change guitars w hums and start playing punk rock/grunge...

he then proceeded to play the opening lines of Texas Flood whilst a storm was brewin' at the back...and I am KWS...
DAMN !! reality check...if that happen to me..I am a certified CHICO MAGNETO with a wonderful Strato in between my lego...
