Rooting for Oranje, like Spain which my secondary choice, they both only crowned once in international level both in Euro Cup, 1988 and 1964 respectively,but the Oranje recent run of Euro Cup being better then Spain. But Im always the person who prepare for upset during this international level for example the great Otto coach the Greek in 2004 Euro championship.This is a gd example tat u don need superstar to win in International level but a great tactical knowledge who knows how to neutralise a team with star and mind u their route is not tat easy.they faced spain,portugal,france and czech. but player to watch for me in the tournament will be Marco Borriello (Italy), Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (Netherlands) and Mario Gómez (Germany). Munch and liquid recommended.......Nachos,pringles, and lots and lots of Mug Root beer for me and prepare to be sleepy the next day for work...hahahaha....chaoz...

talented team but the managerial system sucks.

germany would be great only if klinnsman was still the coach.
 
Well, you have to be unlucky to be in the group of death.
More effort needed to even get pass the group stages, gonna be difficult to replicate the same results, plus I don't think Van Basten is all that good tactically pitted against the more experienced French and Italians.
 
well i hope the italians dont really get much of a dig at the french.

I want to see Henry back at his best. But the Italians are really good tactically, they're gonna wear you down, then wear you down somemore, then pop somehow they get a goal and you lose. :???:

yup, very bad choice.....and just becoz nistlerooy mention something abt him, den tats happen...anw, same goes to Mclaren and Beckham issue..
 
^ hmm. if im not wrong, his reason for dropping van nistelrooy was that he was experimenting with youngsters.

Switzerland will be a good underdog team to pick. They are the only team in history to have been kicked out of a WorldCup Finals without conceeding a goal in normal or extra-time.

They eventually lost on penalty kicks to Ukraine.

And they now have the advantage of playing at home. Interesting stuff indeed.
