The Beatles!

Best lyric line I've ever seen: Still my guitar gently weeps.

Oh so psychedelic, oh so beautiful, oh so many interpretations, oh the Beatles

when u beatles-softie kakis coming to yello jello at Clarke Quay? We give u alla Beatles marathon ......

I was really hooked to the Beatles(die-hard) in my younger days..

Unfortunately, it is not so popular here among the general public..

When I played the white album as a teenager, people gives me a kind of look..

Anyway, my favourite member is John, cause he really have written lots of unique songs...not so catchy but nice songs...Paul's song is little more popish I guess..

George solo is simple but straight to the point...Remebering "Yes Blues" from white Album...

I like all of them including the often overlook Ringo playing simple but unique drum licks, singing songs like Yellow Submarine, Octopus Garden, With a little help from my friends, when I was sixty-four....

I almost have all their album including some singles not released but you can heard it occasionally on BBC....

Abbey Road is my fav album, to me, the highlight was I want you, She's so heavy..esp the ending part, thats heavy rock...hehe..

I`m currently watching the Beatles Anthology Documentary and lots of rare videos can be seen in it. I got to see scenes of them playing in Hong Kong and Manila (the place where they were having a hellish time).

i cant decide which is my favourite beatles album. i'm stuck between abbey road and help!. somehow i dont really find sgt peppers very appealing

I'm a huge Beatles fan (as my name and avatar suggest :p)
My favourite songs would be Because, Here Comes the Sun, Dear Prudence, When I'm 64, Oh! Darling and Helter Skelter. MY favourite Beatles movie was probably Help!

They are awesome :D

If I fell(my all-time favourite)
I will
Julia
Good Night(makes me really wanna sleep)

are some of my favourite ballads....

"She came in thru the bathroom window"...one of my all-time favourite..

I`m 26 and my first brush with the Beatles came when I was 8 and I listened to them exclusively when I was 16 and still very much to this day :)

I`d like to own a Rickenbacker 330 guitar one day but a new one costs $3K+ sing if I`m not wrong, which is bloody ex. Oh well, I have my Epiphone Casino to keep me company. This guitar does give give good clean rock and roll sounds n overdrives easily. Feedbacks easily too.

If u noticed, John has been using his Rickenbacker guitar from their debut album up to Help! Then from Rubber Soul to the last album, he uses the Epiphone Casino exclusively. Its no wonder that the Epiphone Casino guitar has often been referred to as the Beatle guitar haha...actually, it was Paul who got the Casino first n used it on Ticket To Ride n other songs on Help! Paul still has this guitar today :)

I like beatles since last year..

Though I regretted for not knowing them early,(Georges passed away =( before I listened to beatles)..

John death was so @!#@#@!@.

But, Beatles shall always be in my mind

Lets see now my favs with the beatle who sang them will be:

Dig a pony - Lennon
And Your Bird Can Sing - Lennon
I Want To Tell You - Harrison
Something - Harisson
The Long and Winding Road - McCartney

Two of Us - Lennon / McCartney
If I Fell - Lennon / McCartney

"Strawberry Fields Forever.."
-John Winston Lennon, 1940-1980

Harrison`s songs are often overlooked..While My Guitar Gently Weeps is a great song, with Eric Clapton playing the solo on that one, Harrison in turn returned the favour by playing on Cream`s Badge song :)
