Hola Aging Youths,
Catch Allura in National University of Singapore Arts Festival 2009 in 'Elementalism', a unique showcase of music and the environment. Great Spy Experiment, Shirlyn Tan & The UnXpected and The Fire Fight will be performing as well!
Representing nature's elements Earth, Wind, Fire and Water, the bands are set to rock out new melodies for the environment in this 3 hour rock concert! The show happens this Saturday 14 March 2009 at University Cultural Centre Courtyard at 1700hr. Free admission.
B-Quartet is hard at work on their as-yet-untitled sophomore full-length. The numerically-challenged six-piece quartet has crafted a concept album for its next release. As we are targeting a Q4 release date, we hope to put the final product in your grubby hands by November 2009.
In Lunarin's world, the feature film 'Brother Number 2' is finally getting air time in this year's Singapore Film Festival. The band, together with band friends Mark Wong (aka kulturekampf) and local indie director Jacen Tan (of Tak Giu fame), contributed to the soundtrack of this documentary. The closing song 'Zero Point Red' can be heard at the end of this 75-minute feature film version. It was omitted in the shorter version, The Trouble with Waiting, which won the Busan film festival last year.
For those of you curious to find out what the film is about, do catch the film screening on Wednesday 22 April 2009 at the Substation. We have 2 free tickets for 'Brother Number 2' to give away. Email theoracle@lunarin.com for more details.

For their upcoming album, recording arrangements are underway and Lunarin is aiming for a mid-year start date with a eye at a possible year-end release.
The Lard Brothers have completed around 20% of their 2nd full length album 'Simply As Designed' which is tooled as a futuristic hip-hop opera. The reconfigured hip-hop unit is looking at a late 2009 release date or just droppin' da bomb on Friday 1 January 2010.
In the Zero Sequence camp, frontman Ming Toh has left the band to pursue his interest of '80s glam rock n' roll with his new band SkyRocket. Mang from Timbre resident band The GoodFellas has joined Zero Sequence as the new lead pipes. Mang has previously contributed guest vocals on the album 'Flight Of Transcendence', specifically on 'Transcedence'.
The prog-rock sextet is looking at writing new material with Mang to start work on their 3rd full-length release. Production will kick off early 2010.
Love always,
Aging Youth Records
