Teen dies in car accident

sorry to hear that. and i cant spell the condolences right.

lets just take care of ourselves. true that death comes anytime(in Islam, we believe that God has planned it, the time, just like He planned on (who) our partner in life), and it may not be ur fault or planned, but it sure does not hurt to be careful.

kind of agree with shinobi...

forget the car, the brother must be devastated to hear the news in australia... hope he's not shaken or stirred in his pursuit to be a full pledged pilot..

RIP.

i don't mean to be disrespectful or anything,

but thank goodness he didn't hurt anybody else along the way.

please guys, drive responsibly- there are other lives on the road than yours.

the government should ammend the age-limit of driving to 16! my condolence tho for ur friend. It happened near my hse and i didnt know. Oh well yea under-aged driving is becoming a trend now i see. Don't risk it boys and girls, even if u dont get into a car-accident, the fine can kill u too. worse car accident and fine...sheesh. RIP

just came back from the funeral,
many sec 4s went, well it was a sad affair.
he liked to drive with 1 hand, and my friend told him the day before, take care, when driving, well. those were my friends last words to him.this is real sad.
apparently he was only nosebleeding when rescued. hmmm

You gotta be kidding me. Liked to drive with 1 hand and this wasn't his first time out with that blue Swift tearing down the roads? This is life leh, not Initial D whereby u crash u just restart. Sigh...

Well they might as well ammend smoking to 11 year old then - cause even the kids are smoking nowadays. The government should not lower the age for this very reason - cocky young individuals with hot blood think they are invinsible and they will not be the one on newspaper. Now I do not know the person - and I may be over generalizing but how many times have we seen such cars weaving in and out only to see the driver that looks like our kid brother or sister? If the parents or good friends are aware of their action - they should at least have advise the dude. If he/she refuses to listen - a call to the police will help to sober up the person. It's called tough love - but nonetheless if we value friendships, we'll do it for the person's own good.

Well in a sense they will not see it - but the untold misery they bring to their family - well they torment the family even after they are gone. I guess now let us give some space for the relatives and friends to mourn.

Nosebleeding could signify ruptured brain vessels and capillaries. Depending on how many vessels burst - he would survive anywhere between 2 minutes to a few hours. Nothing much the paramedics could have done for him.

To be frank - I don't feel sorry for the guy - he had it coming. I only feel sorry for his family and friends.

which is worse:

1) instant death
2) brain death
3) brain loss of use
4) limbs loss of use

Worst? Causing the injury and death of others on the road when you shouldn't be on the road.

PS: I know I am commenting a lot on this thread and may come off as insensivite - but everyday on my way to work - I meet with the all sorts of Fast and Furious & Initial D drivers that threaten to put me in a hospital or casket. They have no respect for other's people's life - so my sympathy for them if brief although I do feel for the sorrow of the families. In the US more people are killed each year by drunk driving that the whole Vietnam war casualties combined. Sad thing is - a lot of them are victims just coming home from work or fetching their kids.
