The accident on early Saturday morning at 1.45am at Jurong Town Hall where the Mitsubishi Colt got smased like a crumpled paper, the driver is my friend. Both he and his girlfriend died at the scene. It was a shocking news when I received a call from another friend about this early in the morning.

He's 25 yrs old...

My condolences. But IMO, what your classmate did could also easily cause the death of other innocent road users or pedestrians.

The accident took place right outside my office. That road isn't the safest and he was speeding. The blue 1.3l Swift didn't stand a chance as it most likely skidded and wrapped the tree. Point to note, your friend's 16 and was driving illegally.

first the civic EG6, then the mitsubishi colt, then now suzuki swift...all these resulted in the deaths of young boys and girls, condolences to the family and friends...

i didn't know that illegal driving was apparent in Singapore... guess i was wrong..

traffic police should step up their searches or something to prevent this type of things occuring again but also, schools should reiterate the importance of illegal driving and it's consequences...

hope everyone learns something from this.

My condolences. For cars to be smashed it takes considerable speed. So don't speed. What a wasted life. Can only imagine what the parents are going through right now. No child should die before the parents. Consider this thought for all of us (not directed at the car driver).
