TC electronic Hall of Fame or Flashback Delay?

hmm, thought one is reverb, the other is delay?

yup hall of fame is a reverb, going for 225, flashback delay(as the name implies) is a delay going for 245. haha.
IDK!!!! just which one is more worthwhile getting? I really like the Hall of Fame, then again, I also want a delay for the dotted eights stuff, solos, and just for the ambience! how?

Can't compare since they do different things. I need both delay and reverb. See which one you need more first.

oh man! wasted. I calculated cost for both and its about a $5 diff compared to ebenex inclusive of shipping.
Ok if you had to choose either, which one would you choose?

I already have multiple delays and reverbs. But I still want both. Yes, I am aware that I suffer from this problem.
Seriously though, which one will you use more... Reverb to me is very important, but it also has very limited applications. Like for most genres there is a single specific type of feel achieved by adding the right reverb, but you can still make do without. Whereas for delay (especially since you mention dotted 8ths) that may be an integral part of the sound and you simply can't play a particular song without that delay (e.g. U2 stuff).

Or
get the reverb first, then the delay.
Since both are different, theres a need to know what you want individually. Without going the way of getting both at same time or different time, theres is no way to find out what is the preference you wanna eventually.

to the TS, seriously it's more a matter of what you need with more immediacy. that being said, you'd probably have more use for a delay than a reverb pedal off the bat.

i would say reverb. makes you sound pro-er first. nah. but delay is essential for what you want to play as compared to reverb which just makes it sound more awesome. just buy both and starve for the moment.

From experience, the reverb would be used most compared to a delay. Then again, depends on what you play and your current gear. Also makes for more enjoyable playing/practice. So, I would get a decent sounding reverb first. The delay can emulate reverbs but it will not sound like a real reverb.
