Better to find "live" works of the artist (ie. pictures or humans) ...
dun expect tattoos to come out exactly like the flash~

also notice the tone of ur skin (no racism),
it makes a HUGE difference ~!
especially if you thinking of getting tattoos with colour ...~

Oh, and white fades off after afew years ...
But most artist in singapore would provide free touchup anyways ~

1) If you are really intent on getting a tattoo, first be VERY VERY clear as to what design you want; don't saunter into the parlour and choose one out of a catalogue in 15 minutes of flipping through the pages - guaranteed you will regret that. If you can, get someone artistic to design an original for you - not some generic crap that about 10 other people have. Then, before you take the plunge, get a picture of it and stick it on your wall next to your bed where you will wake up and see it every day. If you can still stand the sight of it at the end of six months, only then should you consider getting it inked permanently.

2) Laser removal. My cousin had that done. It hurts twice as much as having the tattoo done. They give you aboout 20 injections in and around the area before the laser comes into play. He had 3 sessions to remove a dragon about 10 inches in length. The outline is still visible and the skin scarring is very very obvious. Refer to 1) - i.e. be super sure that you want that picture on your arm/leg/chest/genitals FOREVER.

ya....totally agree...cos personally i am thinking gettin one too...but alot of things come into consideration...

a idea for u guys which feel like gettin one but are nt sure about it....go try those draw one 1st...it can last u for around a week...den when u think the design suits u...den further consider about gettin it as a tattoo...

skin tone is very important ..
those draw on one's .... maybe for tribal or celtic ..still ok~
but when it comes to colour ... totally different ~!

Most important is to get urself a reliable artist ...
COST SHOULD NEVER BE AN ISSUE ~!!
lazer removal cannot remove colours like red or green ...~

lazer removal (like divorce) = scar for life

Every Tattoo is a window into a person's life ~
Be it a symbol, it reflects the soul, emotion and mental state the person is experiencing at the time ~
I've got a tribal dragon which ended up looking similar a merlion, just becoz i was super drunk ...
i went into the shop, asked the artist .... "yo brother, $100 can do wat?"
this stupid little tattoo shows how pissed drunk i was and how i make stupid mistakes when i drink too much...~
But it is still a memory ... of the wonderful time i had drinking with a few solid kahkis ... and i still love it ...~

like i said.I dont find anything beneficial having a tattoo but create a lots of problem if you decide to remove it later.Its not about being conservative or open minded but more of a common sense.We do follow the westerners style but to certain extent.Not all westerners style suits us.Cultures are different.Besides,having a tattoo doesnt make you look artistic,macho,cool or anything,maybe showing off to those who are interested only.Think far before having a tattoo.If you think,JUST DO IT is a good way of thinking...heheheh go ahead..i dont analyzed things like that and JUST DO IT...

btw when u get ur tattoo done, remember 2 wash wif salt water....... just put a bit of normal salt into tap water n clean....... heal faster......... got this remedy from old timmer n it works....... :wink:

Well.. To me a muslims cant do tatoos coz its against Islam rights and laws.. Do u know that when we are born, our body is clean with no tatoos and god has make our body the way it is.. Hmm.. But when u die.. your body must remain the same as when you are born.. Example Like no tatoos, No colouring or perming of hair and etc.. So IMHO.. Dont ever do tatoos.. Or you will regret it.. Hehe
