Just wondering how do you clean tarnished frets? Use Autosol to make it shine back? hahaha.. Also what is phase shifting?

currently using the product below to restore shine on my frets, review soon 8) :

I don't think many here will recommend the use of autosol, especially when that stuff gets onto the fingerboard. In anycase, if you do choose to use it, mask up the wood with masking tape before doing so.

the FPS cloth isn't chemically treated, it's nothing too different from zero grade steel wool but the manufacturer promises very little fret wear upon use.

Sounds interesting. Do post a review soon Sub!

And dwarfstars, you'll find out what's phase switching when you come by my place tonight.

the FPS is $8 @ Davis...

the review has already been submitted, have to give some time for James to load 8)

tip: how to know which item's review will appear soon- refer to SOFT's product photo gallery, if you see the item there, it means the review is coming soon. if you refer to the gallery now, you'll see the following items:

*LTD EX-50
*Epiphone Zakk Wylde
*Planet Waves FPS
*Cort M-200
*Fender ST-72 Strat

Jim Dunlop also has a fret polish cloth/sheet. I bought a box of 10 sheets when I was on vacation so I dunno who sells here.

It works good for tarnish and take out yellow but you need something else for rust. The cloth turns black really quickly so i threw away some before I read that you can wash it under water and re-use
