"take your pick. Me or your band?"

The best explanation is, that's what life's all about. People may decide on the wrong or right thing in life but tend to survive in the future.

When I first got married, I was told not to sing anymore in a band. The second part was to not play music anymore. Guess what I did? Hehehehe!! Well, I quit music totally at one point in time. But at a later stage in life, I quit marriage and start playing music again. But I'm married now with a singer and one who believe in music.

Saluti!

Kin bacin and AIN...

that was a methaporic question.
Need not get so worked up.

as for tetra,
i guess i share some part of that fate too with some adjustments here and there..

When I first got attached, I was told not to play the guitar anymore. The second part was to not play music anymore. Guess what I did? Hehehehe!! Well, I quit music totally at one point in time. But at a later stage in life, she came to an understanding so here i am. Did i mention she bought me a new guitar due to the fact i sold the previous one upon my temporary retirement?

runaway from both of them. whoever find you first, ditch the one that didnt need you.

hahaha. ok ok. sorry sorry.

well to me i its all about time management. i mean not literally have to write on a piece of paper/book/diary to plan it. Just divide your time accordingly. I mean how often do you jam with your bandmates? how often do you go out with your significant others?

it is best if things can be compromise.

Wah Aki...steady ah you!! That's what I call a real woman's man!! Get the partner to give in. Good job!! Good job!!

So guys...a good example it is here!! Before quitting on your partner if music is what you choose first....can try like Aki. If it doesn't work, can book appointment through me ah and pay deposit and I'll connect to Aki. Hehehehe!!

when MAB came in circa 94-95??..i did asked him if he wanna challenge but he say he bring 1 piece at that time we did a duel...MAB vs Fuzz

I was outshredding him left right everywhere and so for my last move..did a star jump from the stage to the audience...and I landed on the floor off my bed...

hehehehe....please take my rantings with a pinch of aji no moto...

sorry princess TS...outta point from thread

yeah thats a sticky situation to be in. girlfriend or band

i pity the dude. its not as though jamming takes up alot of time

I'll take that as a compliment tetra.
on a serious note, i do think its sometimes acceptable to give in, maybe in time your partner will see the error in their ways.

It helps if you have a supportive friends.
though I dont see the logic why one would call people who gets upset over you leaving the band for your partner as friends.
Way i see it,
Truefriends wont diss you no matter what the choice you make.

hmm fuzz,
nevermind the skills.
if you could jump that far, you must haved aced your standing board jump test!

haha, im out for the day. have fun fellow KKNs

i dun reli like bringing gf (as if i have) to studios...

but i like to bring guitar to studios.
ditch the girl if she cant reason out or cant accept tat the guy nid to have time for his band.

AND

it is depending on the guy too... he have to schedule his time.
i have frds who have a many bands and commitments... he is doin good.
i f u want it then do it n be organised.

or as mattbella said, sell satay. sell gd satays... the ones at lau par sat the standard drop...
i ordered from every shop tat day i went... damn no good

simple equation for me
if all the members heart is as one, stand united together
then stay together, if one drifts away to a certain direction
and the heart is no longer there, its no use keeping that one person who could jeopardise the band.

tats said
then again the easy way out is to break up the band or dismiss this certain member
things could always work out to a certain extent with communication ,thats what i believe.

There are a few possible situations here-

1: Your partner is excessively clingy, insecure, and wants you entirely to herself. In this case, end the relationship. She's not worth it.

2: You are genuinely not spending enough quality time with your partner. The fault is yours. However, in this case, she should ask you to spend more time with her. What you do when you're not with her should not be a cause for concern.

3: You are playing in a band that requires massive amounts of commitment. I don't think there are many bands in Singapore like this. If you're doing a world tour and your relationship suffers, it's understandable.

As a closing point-

Alot of Singapore's busiest bands know how to manage their time. Several of the members in WGB, AVA, Caracal and what-have-you are in committed relationships. Esmond from Vertical Rush is a working adult, a married man and the father of a baby girl! They've learnt to manage their time and have balanced lives, and you should too.

best way
just stay single
okok jkjk

hmmm,in this case
its kinda hard but both bro Aki and Fuzz have valid points
its all about time management and compromising

haha

errr how do I say this;

Love is not about controlling someone else you 'own'. It's about understanding, compramising and sacrificing. But don't ever over-do it.

It goes the same with the band. You cannot control others in an absurd manner.

You do the rest :)
