Symphony X : Sea of Lies (Slate Drums)

Hi guys,

Here's my humble attempt at a song from this phenomenal band. After a long wait since 97', I've only gotten to see them live for the first time this year and they were just simply amazing. Needless to say, the urge to do this cover was truly immense and I hope I did them some justice.

This is also the last time I'll be miking up the amp due to room constraints and some mild tinnitus. There's so much more to be done with miking but I'm afraid I'll have to look at other avenues of recording guitars.

Let me know how it sounds on your end and I'll make the final tweaks.

I'm gonna get some more mileage out of the POD first. Probably need to listen to more Axefx clips and decide if its worth it.
