Cloudsky: The way you did it is correct, but i think the forum doesn't allow .bmp files to be uploaded onto the msg... prob cos of the huge size of bmp files. See, if it's a jpg like this, it works fine.

Maybe someone felt ripped-off after going to sims drive only to find out the squire is a single-humbucker version and the Gibson is a melodymaker, then he decided to spoof the ad to sabo SweeLee...

It is a bit misleading isn't it - it says "Squier Stratocasters $99" in the original ad - I took my friend there (he's almost a complete beginner) only to find out they were Squier *BULLETS*. Oh well - for $99 these guitars are almost disposable so neither of us were that disappointed.

In the U.K. they have a law called the "Trades Descriptions Act" which basically says that adverts have to advertise what they're selling and nothing else, otherwise it's a misrepresentation and they are breaking the law. In theory, if we were in the U.K. we could *sue* Swee Lee and make them sell us a proper Squier Strat for $99. Doubt that will happen here though - I get the feeling that The Gahmen is actively trying to discourage a litigation culture like in the U.S. and U.K. - to be honest, that isn't overall a bad thing (curiously though MM Lee has sued a lot of people and won...)

anyways, mentos lee actions are defamatory actions. its not so much he smart, rather, his detractors are d-uh...considering some of them are lawyers themselves...sighz..
