1. Supernova 2007 is an inter-school rock band competition with the objective of promoting interest in local band music among the school fraternity. It will take place on 10 Feb 2007 (Sat) at Innova Junior College in conjunction with the i@fun funfair carnival.
2. The competition is open to all students currently enrolled in secondary schools, junior colleges and centralized institutes.
3. Each band must comprise at least 3 members and be able to perform live without the use of backing tracks.
4. Each band is required to perform one cover and one original composition in English during the preliminary round. The top 4 bands will qualify for the finals, during which they will be required to perform an additional 3rd song (either a cover or original).
5. Works performed during the competition must not contain lyrics of offensive or undesirable content.
6. Judging Criteria: (i) Instrumentation 30%; (ii) Creativity 30%; (iii) Vocal & Sound Control 20%; (iv) Stage Charisma (20%).
7. Registration must be completed online via this website before 31 Jan 07. Bands that register before 24 Jan 07 will be entitled to one early-bird registration goodie bag.
8. Registration is free with purchase of at least one i@fun funfair carnival coupon ($10). Bands will be notified after registration with regards to the payment and collection of the i@fun coupons and registration goodie bags.
9. Bands may be auditioned prior to the event day in the event of overwhelming response.

thats my GUESS only ! later give guitar strings tuners and those things. hahaha ! but i think prizes wun be so lousy too.
