Formed in January 2020, Sunyata is a trio playing a brand of unconventional, eclectic and contemplative music.
Sunyata's self-titled debut album explores the nature of mind and reality through sonic experimentation. While musically enmeshing diverse styles, this release goes on a contemplative journey which allows us to recognise our basic human condition and to aspire towards cultivating wisdom and compassion. Conceptually inspired by Je Tsongkhapa, Vajra put together Sunyata with the main motivation of bringing benefit to the world through music and mindfulness. [Note: This album was recorded only 2 months after the band's formation].
