suitable booster for wampler's plextortion

hey guys...
i just got myself a wampler super plextortion and after playing for awhile i really loved the mid gain tone.
but what was lacking was a lil bit more sustain,clarity and gain so i guess a booster will do the job (dont like the hi gain setting on the pedal)

looking for some sort of a booster that could boost the cleans of the amp and also add some saturation into the super plextortion

any recommendations?

If you want to add saturation to the pedal just boost it with a TS. Not sure what you mean by 'boost' the cleans, volume boost? Make the cleans sound more desirable? Be more detailed, that way it'll be easier to help out

i also want the booster to be able to boost cleans over the top like vox famous chime type of clean tone

Why did you buy it if you don't like it?
You could have sourced for other alternatives...

An overdrive pedal should do the gain(overdrive) and volume boost.

Retro-Sonic Boost as I've mentioned in one of your earlier threads. I use it effectively to get my Vox cleans, and use it AFTER the Plextortion to sculpt your tone.

Get it at TY on clearance at $150 now, or pay the original price of $250..

Sounds like you need a treble booster. Over the top meaning you get on the edge of break up kind of tone?

In this case you should have just bought the Flex Drive, which is a pretty versatile pedal, and got a separate pedal to boost it.

Thing to note:
Level knob goes from 7 o'clock to 5 o'clock.
Unity is 8 o'clock.
Live my lead boost is practically at 9 o'clock.

I still have PLENTY of volume on tap that it's insane!

Keeley katana boost. Clean boost with push-pull knob down, gain boost with the knob up.
