Stupid things happend in BOON STUDIOS

hi.. just like to share wad happend when me and my friends were jamming in boon studios quite a few weeks ago.

As u know there are 2 boon studios.. the back and the front. I'm referring to the front studio, which is the aunty who usually is in charge.

When i and my friends came in, the aunty totally ignore us as she still continues to talk on the phone for a half an hour. She said that shes handling a customer. Fine, we understand and waited. After she put down the phone, she ignores us again. We were starting to get angry, so we went up to her and ask to booked a studio ( that time there was no one in any of the rooms ). Suddenly the phone rang, She picks up the phone and talk again. She was totally ignoring us.. as my friend gt angry and said that " I'm talking to you, then u pickup the phone again".

Then after my friend said that, finally the aunty gave us the room.

Then.. we started to tune our amps .. after that we start jamming..

Suddenly.. one of the uncles.. ( i think assistant ) came knocking our room and said that we were playing too loud. Me and my friends was like wad???..

we played the same sound level at every jamming studio and no one said anything. Then my friend said,

its not loud.. we were playing as usual..


Then the uncle told us to leave, as he rudely off my friends amp and pluck out the cable from his guitar. And we didn't even played for 5 mins !

Then we ask for refund. Then the uncle said ok, as he said behind my friends back and said that they are crazy to play that level..

and he said that, he is willing not to do business with us..


i mean come on !! that was the stupidest reason i ever heard.


So i suggest u ppl who jam at boon, pls choose the back instead of the front one.

so what genre do you guys play , and i guess a business is a business and the customer is always right . unless you gave them the impression that you guys were gonna kill the studio equipment

hey.. we did tune our guitars.. that was not so good reason to give..

u have to tune the amp due to dist and the amps effects right.. dun tell me u dun do that?

the funny thing is.. we were playing fine..

Now.. just imagine.. the normal volume u play everytime in any other studio , Boon think its too loud..

we were only playing alternative rock..


anyway.. they were rude.. no respect..

you don't tune the amp , guitars are tuned , pianos are tuned . Amps are tweaked or adjusted .

those old studios with broken Roland Jazz chorus 120 amps, and smelly carpetsstarted out for wynner 5 , Feng Fei Fei, beyond wannabes...
in their hey days

so naturally, they cant accept these type of music.

but then on a whole.. i still side with the music community.

on a business sense, it either they wake up and improve on thier customer service.
otherwise probably to be replaced by upcoming new studios.

so. to the threadstarter move on man!...

hmm.. well the boon studios at the back is really good cuz the uncle is extremely nice. The front one, well about a year or 2 back, i can assure u my former band made the MOST amount of noise ever. I would whack the drums as hard as i could sometimes just for the hell of it, never had any problems. Maybe boon just didnt like ur face. I dunno..

well yeah, i go to boons, the back one, quite regular. the uncle is really nice, he even gave us cookies to eat. hahah so just get the back one, uncle is really good, give him more business la

yea my friend told me they closed up. I was in disbelief.. they've been around for very long.. 15+ years? I guess the regulars either died or quit music.. haha!

I have yet to go over to check out if its true.
