String Rusting Problem.

Haha or if ur guitar has a Floyd like mine, changing is a real pain. There are good strings that can last long ( 2-3 mths ) for less than $10 a pack, DR Strings Tite-Fits is the one i swear by. Btw arsony, how u gonna fix sweaty palms? I dun have them but i'n intrigued as to how u can do it.

Okay...okay...

Since everybody's PMing me and asking as to how to fix it, well here are some proven ways to reduce sweaty palms / sole (ie hyperhidrosis)... from cheapest and simplest method to most expensive and hardcore!

1) Robinul tablets.
- Prescribed by dermatologist
- Usually does not work very well and is effect is temporary

2) Laser treatment to the sole or palms
-cost anything from $300 to $500 per session and effect would last about half a year
-Uncomfortable during lasering

3) Botox (R) injection to the palm/sole
-cost anything between $1200 - $1800 per session that would last about a year to 14 months
- injection type of pain ...go figure..

4) Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy
- surgery to cut away some of the sympathetic nerve fibers that run to the hands thus lowering the sweat level significantly.
- Virtually permanent solution
- Surgery under general anaesthesia.
- Expect to pay anything between $4500 to over $10000 depending on centre and surgeon's seniority.

Well, anybody seriously considering to do any of the above can PM me.. Good luck!

ETS is bloody crazy; in a sense that the nerves that get snipped off during surgery causes you to lose the ability to sweat from your *ahem*(Somewhere 3/4 on your chest) line onwards. As a result, you compensate by sweating more elsewhere. Scary actually.

There really isn't a cure yet, for Plantar (soles of the feet) Hyperhidrosis. If you snipped the nerves from your feet, then you wouldn't be able to feel anything, would you?

No la! Come on.... there is nothing to suggest that you overcompensate elsewhere.. and what is this *ahem* thing you referring to ? Boobs?

And the nerves cut are sympathetic fibres and not those responsible for sensation and movement.
