Strat 2-Point Tremolo

Hi, I have a Squier Strat with the 2-point tremolo. I find the clearance between the bridge and the body too close. How can I adjust the bridge so that I have a higher clearance without heightening the action? I want to make the bridge slanted outwards, just like, for example, Jeff Beck's strat. I tried taking out 1 spring and the strings become more difficult to tune, and the strings' tension are much tighter in order for the strings to be in tune.

How can I adjust to what I want properly? Change Springs? Or, if I were to go to a guitar technician, What should I say, or where can I go?

thanks. Help is very much appreciated.

open the backplate of your strat and you should see 2 screws holding in a screw claw..just loosen those 2 screws a little and it should work..you should be using at least 3 springs imo

if you were to go to a guitar tech, just let him know you want your bridge to be floating and he'll know what to do :D
