strap of the warwick guitar bag too wide?

hey, i just bought a $70+ warwick guitar bag from sweelee, but i then found out that the width of the strap is too wide. i do not have so broad shoulders and if i carry the bag via the strap, it will be quite awkward. anyone has any suggestions for me? please help me out, thanks!

heh, you could always try selling it on the buy/sell forum if it really irks you. you could use the money to buy another gig bag probably at Davis or something.

I'd rather have thick straps than thin straps although i have narrow shoulders :\

try to cut them and fold them into half.
