yeah kind of. but i prefer bands from sweden and finland.

more prominent old sxe bands are earth crisis, shelter, minor threat.
scandinavian hardcore bands i like are jr ewing, xmorning afterx, refused.

just to side track a little...the guitarist and bassist of the cardigans used to play in a pretty gd hardcore band before they formed the latter. but i dont remember the name
