Standard tuning vs 1/2 step down

Interesting read ...... it influenced me to leave a number of my guitars in half-step-down tuning.

I guess tuning preferences have a lot to do with whom you've been influenced by. Personally, I only keep my floyd equipped tuned to E and as for the rest, including acoustics, are in E flat.

That is a facisnating thread. Didnt know that most guitar are tuned so evil, THE NAZI TUNING!!! Interesting read

in the '90s, i even set up one of my Ibanez guitars to accomodate a whole step down tuning- DGCFAD. an influence by HELMET's Page Hamilton also saw me adopt a 'droppped D' tuning- DADGBE... those were the days... 8)
