Stagg Stingray Bass

hey softies . wanna ask you guys

anyone here tried or even better , own a stagg stingray bass copy ?

i need some comments on it . the pros and cons

Ha ha I know there's one in one of the peninsular stores, but never got down to trying it out... Maybe you could head down and give it a test run.

the stagg stingray copy is quite a good copy.
you ought to try it out yourself.

played it once at one of the shops in penin- can't remember which. think it was related to seekz in some way. in any case, it was a pretty good bass for the price... i played with the action and managed to get it down to a nice level, played nicely and the tone wasn't all that bad either. would be good if i was looking for a beater backup to a stingray. this was quite a while ago though, so it may have been sold by now.

one thing to note is that you should always check the neck pocket and make sure it is tight. you get better tone/sustain that way.

hey man ,

why not try the OLP ? they are pretty decent too , in terms of price and playability . But dun expect it to sound like a EBMM stingray . The ibanez ATK may be good too , can consider them .

OLPs are out of production... i don't think you can get them in stores anymore

if youre looking for a stingray shape with a decent tone for a cheap price. it would be a feasible option
