Squier: Vintage Modified Jazz bass

maybe some of us are waiting for this bass to arrive- it's here. managed to try it thoroughly; one of the best Squier has to offer/ a good bass per se. i'm impressed with the pickups to say the least. List: $695 @ swee lee

Hey yall. I actually got this from Swee Lee Sims Drive about 6 months ago. Mine has a cosmetic dent at the back and I got a discount with a final price of $480. This is actually my first bass, but experienced people who have tried it all commented that it's pretty good.

You'd be better off having a look at the whole thing in person to see why it justifies such a
price. Block inlays and binding, a one piece maple neck etc all contribute to the price I guess.

The review says that the body is maple? Sure looks like ash to me in the pic..

the manufacturer specified it as maple. i'd say by virtue of the hue it's ash but one thing's for sure- it's heavy...
