maybe some of us are waiting for this bass to arrive- it's here. managed to try it thoroughly; one of the best Squier has to offer/ a good bass per se. i'm impressed with the pickups to say the least. List: $695 @ swee lee

Hey yall. I actually got this from Swee Lee Sims Drive about 6 months ago. Mine has a cosmetic dent at the back and I got a discount with a final price of $480. This is actually my first bass, but experienced people who have tried it all commented that it's pretty good.

You'd be better off having a look at the whole thing in person to see why it justifies such a
price. Block inlays and binding, a one piece maple neck etc all contribute to the price I guess.

the manufacturer specified it as maple. i'd say by virtue of the hue it's ash but one thing's for sure- it's heavy... 8-)
