I've done a search through the forums but the last thread is 3 years old so I decided to ask this in a new thread.

Which shop has the best deals for Squier Telecasters?

Is there a major difference in price and quality between the two types?

Yes there is..Standard one is priced higher than the California one..I believe the Standard one is going for around $550 (before discount) at Swee Lee while the California one is around $200 plus range. The Standard one definitely has the better parts/ hardware than the California. Oh there's also the Affinity series as well, which is a step up from the California line, I believe.

But I highly recommend getting the Standard series. I remember seeing someone selling the Standard in the Soft ads, u might wanna check it out..gd luck

So can I assume that the ones sold in Sound Alchemy are the California range since the pricing is around 200+?
