Squier Standard Telecaster

Me a noob, getting my first Electric guitar soon, wanted something for 80s - 90s rock (Eagles, GNR, Queens, Bread,..) and mainstream

I read good review about this axe on the magazine.
Wonder if anyone of you here has any comments.

I'm looking for that guitar.. it seems like there aren't any squier teles in sg nowadays..

The vintage modified thinline looks pretty promising!

The genres you mentioned are pretty varied, so I'd suggest something along the lines of a HSS Strat. Perhaps a Squier Classic Vibe 50's Strat, and replace the bridge pickup with a Seymour Duncan JB Jr?

just asking, why a tele? for the twang?

Twang is better for blues right? i donno i read review, seems like a value for money guitar. i play classical now, i think i will only know which genre i will really go into after i have my first guitar..

someone introduce Ibanez GRG 121 BKN 401 for starter like me... ok?

Thanks dude.. Stratocaster, i guess i have to go to the shop and ask them to let me listen to the different types..

we shouldn't be implying on the business ethics just because some models are not available in the mean time, yes? 8-)

i've asked them about the Squier stock status (in general) in the mean time- no shipment in as yet. they would replenish some popular models in time to come. i'm waiting for the new Classic Vibe models to be here...

no lah, not on the business ethics. It is just simply the perception of a consumer, where apparently, there are more of a particulars brands. In fact the service is very good at Swee Lee, eventhough i have not bought anything..

Haha lets wait for more squier model then ... i dont know much about tones now, but squier looks nicer as compared to others of the same price range...haha

I hope it is soon! I'm almost turning to ebay for it

they also have a discontinued Fender TC-90 in the Sims Drive showroom! they're pretty rare now, just too bad I dont have the cash..

My guess is that they're trying their best to clear current squier stocks first.
Which simply isn't happening cos everyone's waiting for the new models heh.

Not many of the vintage modified models were brought in as well.

But i don't expect the cv models to be cheap maybe between $500-700?
