Spot the fake Fender

Erm, is there something wrong with having a pearlite pickguard or are you just commenting on other features of the PG?

the body looks TGM to me...

body looks plywood to me (kueh lapis) coz of the odd sunburst pattern...
tuner - the diamond box el cheepo type...
the truss rod opening in the headstock looks either painted (no walnut insert) or too big - even for mighty mite neck...
backcover looks def oriental made...

nono i'm not against pearloid pickguards just that the pearloid pickguard looks damn funny on a fender if it's original. i like them on RGs 8)
