Sound Design

but we shouldnt have any negative thinking right , i mean if we keep thinking singapore is not the market and everyone else think likewise and go overseas then seriously no one is going to develope singapore into somewhere where people will want to do arts.

if the event managment are the real people taking the money then why cannot us as musician manage our own event, market our own ideas, and produce goods that really deliver . its all on us, ourself, and we shouldnt really now keep blaming the place we are born in.

so if you are born in the states or japan does that really make you succeed now?

lets just all work harder to make music better in singapore : )

what equipment/gear/instrument do you have now?

Explosion sound is sound effect which is royalty free which you can find on CD. Since it is just sound effect, you do not need to pay for it, unless you edit it to the massive sound which you heard from the film.

You can edit compress the explosion and layer it with small other little explosion together to get the fullness of the sound. Eq it and blah blah blah. (Thats what the Sound Designer work. Find the effect and mix it)

I grad as Sound Engineer sch and most of what we do is recording of music, set up miking, troubleshoot the mixer and mix the overall music until mastering stage. Further on that, its Mastering Engineer job to ensure all sound is good to go on CD.

I bet you know what Producer and EP do. Keke..
