Hello everyone!
I am back with <Bring Music To Your Life Series> - A Songwriting Workshop! Having organized numerous communication and dance workshops, I see that it is time for me to expand my passion in music and bring outwards to others to appreciate it as a form of art and enjoyment! Songwriting has always been my passion, in addition to dance. In this songwriting workshop, my intention is for everyone of us to be able to simply learn and start to write your very own songs at the end of the session!
About the workshop:
Music is not necessary a privilege for people who are talented. Different people choose different forms to express ourselves. It can be in the form of dance, sports, travelling, public speaking, baking and so on. However, music is one of the universal language, where everyone can understand each other just by listening.
In this workshop, we will explore about the fundamental theories of lyrics writing. Learn about how lyrics rhyme and make sense with each other, slowly building up into structures to form verses and choruses. We will cover about writing in different genres, styles and touch on arranging as well.

About the Instructor:
Edwin Toh started learning music since he was 4. Over the years, he has amassed many years of experience in performing, composing and arranging. His specialty lies in music for film and television. The people that has worked with him often praised Edwin for his high meticulous standard for his work.
His other notable achievements includes attaining Dean List in his course of Bachelor’s Degree studies in Contemporary Writing & Production, in Berklee College of Music (USA). Edwin also hosted workshops, seminars and classes in his field of music specialty.
