Songs to learn??

Hi! I have been playing rhythm on an electric guitar for quite a while now and when I started out trying solos, I suddenly felt like I have just picked up the guitar for the first time again!
The only solo I have learnt is "Sunshine of your love - Cream"
And I got no idea how to improve my solos.

Any recommendation of songs of easy and nice solos?
Tips for improving solos??

Thanks for all the advise given! :D

Highway to hell.
Take over, break's over.
You could try Sweet Child O' Mine.

Some of the stuff I started with.
Good luck. :)

Nice screen name BTW. Lol.

Wah... you picked such a solo to be the first solo you wanted to learn? Clapton's playing on this track was rather out of the box, much like most of his Cream stuff. If you study that solo carefully in theory, you'll learn a lot more about improvising.

LOLOL Yes i love Biology veeeeeery very much, and im in the midst of mid-year now this two terms are one of the coolest in my list haha!
The villi the cappillaries the whatever!

Haha this song was picked out by my teacher for me, but he havent gone through the theory part and i have taken a break from lessons b'cos of mid year exams. But I dont want to neglect much on my guitar so i wanted some easy solos to learn :D

think of a favourite guitarist - take it from there.

for example if you like slash, try november rain, dont cry.
if you like eric jonhson, try cliffs of dover... etc etc. it helps to have a fave guitarist as somewhere to start off with...

Just finished my bio paper today!
vena cava. spermatozoa. glomerulus. hypothalamus. hepatic portal vein. lymphocyte. phagocyte!

yeah do try picking out songs that you like, and get the tabs for the solos and starts from there (:
