actually, having national songs is good. when you travel to other countries. you hang out with the locals. after a few drinks, they start singing their folk/national songs. singaporeans should be able to 'showcase' a few.

i'm wondering how my niece and nephew gonna sing the new singapore song.
i find it not nice at all. how would a person memories n sing along?
unless they announce it on TV,radio tat every1 have to collect a copy of it at the nearest CC and listen n memories it.

i miss those days went i was a kid. any national day songs... easy to sing... but now... i dun even noe the new ones

i personally don't like the song "There's No Place I'd Rather Be"....i can't seem to connect with it not like past years where singaporeans could feel their pride for their country.....the lyrics are somewhat copied and paste from past songs......we need songs like "home" or "where i belong" which really made us feel proud to be singaporeans.... thats my opinion......
