Hey my band is having an event on valentines day but we are nt sure on what songs to play.. can someone give some songs that sounds nice and melt the hearts of the girls when they hear it?

Our band comprimises of 5 ppl
- 2 guitarist (Lead/Rhythm) - Rhythm does back up singing
- 1 Vocal
- 1 drummer
- 1 bassist

The song must be from a 5 man band or a 4 man band whereby the singer is the rhythm guitarist.. (Eg. MCR, Metallica...)

we mostly do alternatives and post hardcore songs and a bit of rock..
(Eg. MCR, Silversten, RJA...)

thx for helping. :-D

if you guys are really technical players maybe try out in loving memory by alter bridge.i cant think of much right now.maybe with me by sum 41.thats a really nice song.

seize the day?warmness on the soul?oh wait you didnt say you have a piano player.hmm.I wont see you tonight?all by A7X.how about pride and joy by SRV?

so far this is the lineup... comments and other songs are welcomed..

- Your Guardian Angel - RJA
- Discovering The Waterfront - Silverstein
- Pieces - Sum 41
- Seize The Day - A7X
- My Heroine - Silverstein

i dont think discovering the waterfront is a good idea to play.its has a kinda negative message in the song.its like the opposite meaning of your guardian angel.reconsider that song.

pffftttt then what song??? haha... i've run out of ideas. not used to playing love songs -.-

btw our drummer is a pianist. A grade 8 pianist at the age of 15. haha. So if we use piano means we dun have a drummer..

*sigh* boys will be boys... You guys don't really know what the girls listen to do you?

Try doing "I Tried" from The Jeff Healey Band. If you can pull that one off, the girls will be crying after your solo...

When all else fails, do the "Eric Clapton - 24 Nights" version of Wonderful Tonight. That'll melt even your teachers...

If you wanna really impress the girls with your sensitivity, do "Incomplete" from the backstreet boys... (Note: the intro done on guitar needs a 7 string)

+1 for with me by sum41
or play stuff by mayday parade like miserable at best or three cheers for five years
if you want, play GSF by mxpx. LOL.
Thunder-Boys like girls
Letters to you-Finch
Kiss me-Sixpence none the ritcher
Plays pretty for baby-Saosin
Deep and meaningless-Rooster
Take it all away-Ryan cabrera
Secondhand serenade songs are nice too. Or you could just replace discovering the waterfront with 'i believe in a thing called love by the darkness:D

pfft.. i would agree with some of the songs but some of the members of my band thinks that those type of bands are kinda gay and will affect our reputation as we usually play post-hardcore/alternatives/rock. Imagine A7X playing backstreet boys... haha

somemore would be GnR's dont cry.nickelback songs like far away.scorpions still loving you.seether broken.SOAD lonely day(half step from drop d i think).thats pretty much it.
