Hey guys! new to this forum...

As stated above...any of u guys tried the Line 6 DM4 Distortion Modeler? Is it well worth the money for genre like pop rock bands such as yellowcard, fall out boy etc. In terms of distortion, od choices is it good? (me kinda noob)

And 1 more question...I want to change my pups but not really sure of what to get..seymour duncan maybe??? as stated i play mostly pop rock...and i have an epi les paul...Thanks in advance :)

If your're playin pop rock, I feel that its not necessary to get such an expensive pedal like the Line 6 DM4 which is desgined to emulate a wide range of distortion/overdrive pedals. I have not heard of the bands u listen to but I guess a single unit distortion pedal will suffice. I personally like the Marshall Guv'nor 2 distortion pedal, cheap and good.

As for pickup, I once bought a epiphone les paul equipped with Dimarzio PAF. Nice mellow clean sound. When distorted crunchy rhythm and singing lead. Similiar pickups from Duncan are '59 and seth lover.

Distortion Modeller is the weakest link in that Line6 pedal series.
oh wow...i had no idea...oh well like many ppl on this forum have suggested the AX-3000G is prolly a good buy but im low on cash... any suggestions on what to get?

id prolly get dose pups too. :P

get a decent amp. or if your goin thr multi fx way get a keyboard amp or acoustic amp. dun bother abt the pups till much later your better off spending the money on proper amp so your multi fx can be used properly.

okok guys...ima really fickle minded person..soo...decided to get individual stompboxes...any recommendations??? is the ibanez tubescreamer gd??? and wat type of stompboxes shud i get???help help help...really ned help

The tubescreamer is a pretty mild od. A Boss DS-1 would probably suit ur needs better as according to the bands u listed as ur interest. You can go to the boss and ibanez website to listen to their sound samples. A second hand ds-1 goes for 60 or less.

budget?

u can try vs jekyl and hyde give u quite a few gd tones to start with
How about sd twin tube classic
mi audio crunch box
mi audio tube zone overdrive
radial tonebone hot british
rat 2

some of these are on the expensive side
but better to get 1 or 2 gd ones to start with rather than wasting money having to sell and upgrade later.
