SOTA is NOT run by MOE.
its run by MICA - ministry of communications and the arts.

the big big weird weird building in the middle of town heh.

piano ex- i agree, just dun suck, be a nice guy, show up on time for rehersals, advertise urself well. thts wat u need. is soma gd? i dunno really depends on how much to want out of it. i guess ur worried abt the quality of the sch?

a gd gauge is to take lessons from soma and go out and get a lesson from several other professionals. see which one suits u more.

took a lesson from one if the teachers before tht person joined soma, wasn't impressed but tht person may have gotten better at teaching. i'm not bashing soma. just wat i experienced.

yup, that's what meant blurred =) ... totally agree

for the Diploma, I must say that i learn a lot and they let me experience a lot of things in the course...

regarding the teacher, SoMA has a lot of teacher, Is is an instrument teacher u're referring to??? Cuz the teacher for Diploma they only use the best teacher we have for each module, Like Nicole Lai ... dunno though =) ... every person experience is difference .... hehehe

but for me, so far so good =) the teacher always have somehing to share =)

Hey all, gotta bring this thread up again as i got some questions to ask regarding SoMA.

SoMA courses and services looks good compared to other music shop or private schools which offers services like audio recording and such.

A few questions i wanna ask,

When did SoMA came about ? i got confuse with SoMA and SOTA sometimes because i think the big building beside PS is SOTA right ?

And when your graduate from SoMA, is the certificate well-known in the Singapore music industry ?

thanks!
