solo tone

greetings,having probelms when its time to solo solo can't be heard.maybe other band members to loud? amp settings? ... currently using epip lp with seymour sh 1 + sh4
would like to know how to boost the guitar when its time for soloing.eg using a boss ds1 and a ts9 in some setup and activating 1 of them to boost . or any other setups recommended

Yea, you answered your own question. Depends on what guitar you're using and all that. Personally I leave the TS9 on max drive / Tone settings so when its time to solo, i use it to get a very sharp cutting tone cut through the mix.
