yea correct..but some pitch shifters are too power..then the song will go too slow or too fast due to the pitch shift..and for protools the pitch shift is really nonsense..are there any pitch shifters that just go by keys?
Definitely. I know Pro Tools has time-agnostic pitch-shifting because it resamples the track upon application. There are time-shifting effects that don't alter the pitch too, if you're interested.
i use a ac97 audio configuration and it lowers the key of a song like if the song is in a key G then i press minus 1 then the key of the song will be F lor
I also teach remixing with Acid Express (http://www.acidplanet.com/) at the Electronic Music Lab (www.eml.org.sg), and that software can also pitch shift easily. Lessons starting again in August
